Delete your Courtira account

Request account and data deletion

You can request deletion without installing or reinstalling Courtira. Email courtiraapp@gmail.com from the email address associated with your Courtira account. Use the subject “Courtira account deletion request.” We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request.

Open deletion-request email

This button opens an email draft. Send the email to submit your request. Do not include your password, payment-card details, or verification codes.

Before deletion

Delete every Community you own or transfer ownership to another member who accepts the transfer, including archived Communities. If you need help, mention this in your deletion request.

Cancel Apple or Google Play subscriptions separately in the store where you subscribed. Deleting your Courtira account does not cancel store billing. Courtira cancels active subscriptions billed through Stripe as part of account deletion.

What is deleted and what may remain

Account deletion removes your account, profile, personal tournaments, preferences, and personal media. Deletion is permanent and the account cannot be recovered.

Your announcements, uploaded profile photo, and username are removed. Shared tournament records retain your Player Name, country, About text, results, and trophies as read-only history, with initials and a red D beside your name marking a deleted account. Shared Community, tournament, and sponsor images remain while in use. Billing records may be retained as needed for tax, accounting, legal obligations, disputes, security, or fraud prevention. If cleanup cannot finish immediately, the deletion request is retained and retried.

The separate Community retention policy following a paid-plan downgrade allows paid features for 7 days, then read-only access for 90 days. Retained Community data is permanently deleted 12 months after the effective downgrade unless the owner returns to a suitable paid plan. These downgrade periods do not replace an account-deletion request.
