Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 26, 2026
Courtira is operated by Cristian Ferrier. This Privacy Policy explains how Courtira handles information when you use the Courtira mobile application. By using Courtira, you agree to the practices described below. This policy applies to the Courtira app and not to third-party services with their own privacy policies. Courtira is not directed to children under 13. Courtira does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Information Courtira collects
We collect information needed to provide the app's account, tournament, and community features:
- Account and profile information: email address, display name, username, and any optional profile details you provide, such as country, biography, avatar, or profile image. If you sign in with Google, we receive the account information that Google makes available for sign-in.
- Content you create or share: tournaments, scores, schedules, participating players, communities, memberships, join requests, announcements, messages, and optional venue, address, description, sponsor, and image information.
- Notifications: an Expo push-notification token, device platform, and your notification preferences if you enable notifications.
- Feedback: the feedback message and category you submit, your optional reply-to email address, and limited context included with the feedback request, such as app version, device platform, and current app screen.
- Billing and subscription information: when you start or manage a paid subscription, we receive and store billing records needed to provide the subscription, such as your selected plan, billing interval, subscription status, trial eligibility and dates, current billing-period end date, and Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. Payment-card and other payment details are entered directly into Stripe Checkout and are processed by Stripe; Courtira does not store full payment-card numbers.
- Trial-abuse prevention: for free-trial eligibility, we may retain a payment-method fingerprint supplied by Stripe. This is an identifier associated with the payment method, not the card number or other full payment-card details.
How Courtira uses information
- To create and secure accounts, save and sync your tournaments and preferences, and provide community features.

- Google provides optional Google sign-in when you choose to use it.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce our rights, or protect Courtira, its users, or others.
Storage, retention, and security
Information is stored through Courtira's service providers and retained for as long as needed to operate your account, provide the services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Billing and subscription records may be retained after account deletion when needed for tax, accounting, legal, dispute-resolution, security, or fraud-prevention purposes. We use access controls designed to limit access to authorized users, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- You can update profile information and notification preferences in the app.
- You can disable notifications in the app or your device settings.
