Table tennis tournament management

Keep your table tennis event moving.

Run a friendly ping pong competition or a club event with a clear draw, consistent scoring and results players can follow.

Agree on games per match

Choose one game, best of three, best of five or best of seven. Games are played to 11 and won by two. Make the match format clear before play: adding games can change the event’s time requirements substantially.

Use groups when participation matters

Small round-robin groups let entrants meet several opponents before a final stage. Two groups of four require 12 group matches. Two semifinals and a final add three more. A straight eight-entrant knockout needs seven matches but gives a first-round loser only one match.

Treat each table as a playing space

For court-time planning, enter your number of available tables as the calculator’s courts. Number tables clearly and tell players which labels the event schedule uses. Finish recording results before calling the next dependent knockout match.

Keep singles and doubles entries clear

Courtira supports singles and doubles. For fixed doubles, count each pair as one entrant in a round-robin calculation while checking individual-player capacity in the plan. Shared tournament links help participants and spectators follow results.

Does Courtira use different scoring for table tennis?

Yes. The table tennis options use games to 11, won by two, with one-game or best-of-three, five or seven match formats. Confirm the chosen option before inviting players.
